The Dussun V6i

The Dussun V6i is a wonderfull machine that is able to drive even the most demanding speakers. It delivers up to 600 Watts into 2ohm! It is built as a true dual mono. It is incredably cheap considering it's specs and reviews. If you can get hold of one prices may vary between 800 and 7000(!) euros including shipment to europe or the US. If you insist on paying 7000 euro's you might want to take a look at 2Mark Levinson's Redrose Affirmation . The V6i is also sold as the Korsun V6i, there seems to be no difference what so ever. It appears that Dussun will be the brandname for the western market. A lot of Chinese product can be offered as OEM-products, meaning someone can have his own brandname printed on it or even alter it's specs within reasonable limits.

look at this beast! It's wonderful. (you can click the pictures to get the full size pictures)
The V6i can be considered as the small brother of the v8i that delivers even more power (up to 1000 watts into 2ohm!). The V6i is a bit smaller in size and will be more livingroom-friendly to most of us. On the downside there are some reports of early V6i's and V8i's that had noise coming from their transformers also have I read reports about not very good (flat) imaging (soundstage). Althought I have to say I have read far many (very very) positive reports on the internet about both machines. Another thing I regret is that the Korsun lacks XLR inputs. Neither is it possible to bi-wire your speakers but I don't mind that as I think the advantage is overrated.
